10 years ago, Linda Richards was volunteering as a dog foster carer for Best Friend’s Rescue, when the previous owner dropped the responsibilities for the organisation on her doorstep.

She’s now the VP and Operations Manager at Best Friend’s Rescue, where she helps find other foster carers and forever homes for the many dogs that come through their doors each year.

Linda is very passionate about adoption versus buying dogs.

“Dogs are bred to be companions for humans. If we let thousands die every year, what does that say about us?”
