Miss Kay’s Mitchelton

A Brisbane burger favourite, Miss Kay’s was a welcome addition to Blackwood Street 18 months ago.
Their delicious burgers, famous dirty fries and milkshakes are perfect for a mid-week treat or weekend date night.
There's a bar and board games you can play while you wait for your food.
And a bonus for pooch lovers - Mrs Kay’s is dog friendly!
Ion Cafe & Bar

At the top end of Blackwood Street is this fantastic local spot, perfect for any time of day.
They've got amazing breakfast options and our personal favourite is their big breakfast.
As night falls, the back deck becomes the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and relax overlooking the large jacaranda.
They also do specialty wine nights, if you’re looking for an excuse to get out of the house.
Blackwood Street Espresso and Bar

Since opening in January 2017, Blackwood Cafe & Espresso Bar has become a favourite with locals.
This is probably thanks to their fantastic menu and delicious, locally-roasted coffee.
They've recently been approved for a liquor licence, so pretty soon you can pop in for an espresso martini after a long day at work.
In the meantime, enjoy their to-die-for avo toast with tonnes of avocado - even through the shortage!
Two Charming Finches

Formerly Des Alpes, Two Charming Finches is a fairly new addition to Blackwood Street.
Come in and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy the unique range of local art that adorns the walls.
They have a variety of sweet and savoury treats for breakfast and lunch, so no doubt one trip here and you'll be back!
