Tucked away in a quiet pocket of the ‘burbs is one of the last place you’d think to find a buzzing, trendy music venue.

Created by Mia Goodwin and her partner Jamie, The Junk Bar in Ashgrove is one of Brisbane’s fave suburbian bars.

Aside from their scrumptious cocktail menu, they regularly feature local, national and international touring musical acts.

The dark, vintage-inspired decor reminds you of a log cabin in the American mountains, with plenty of green, dark wood and old-school lamp shades.
