There are plenty of animals in the local area who need rescuing and one Brisbane-based organisation is doing their best to help!

Best Friend Rescue works hard to find owners for dogs, putting foster dogs in the warm, loving homes of volunteers during what can be a long and difficult process.

We spoke to their current Vice-President and Coordinator, Linda Richards, along with a handful of volunteers (and a few furry friends seeking forever homes).
