Contrary to popular beliefs, it turns out there is such a thing as a free lunch and you can find it in an unexpected place.

Tucked away in the Kelvin Grove Village is The Exchange, a local organisation run by Communify Queensland, who provide a free lunch once a week for the public - no matter what walk of life you’re from.

The program started 12 months ago and, Cait Wildman, the Exchange’s Development Practitioner, says it’s been an absolute success.

It gives people a chance to come in, have something to eat, and have a look at the other programs the Exchange offers, including English lessons, craft activities and classes for kids.

We spoke with Cait and one of the volunteers, Garry, about the program. Take a watch.
