“This year, we’re broadening our offering and have more activities to bring more people to Oxford st and share our little corner with Brisbane,” says co-organiser of the festival and general manager of the well known Oxford 152, Josh Bibby.

Co-organiser to the festival and owner of Barcadia Kitchen + Bar, Ben Pullen, is excited to bring the event back to kids and families again.

“It’s great to be able to cater them; these are the people that shape what’s so great about our little hub,” says Ben.

We’re sure you’ve marked it in your diaries, but if not, here’s everything you need to know to get excited about tomorrow's festival!

Headlining this year's stellar music lineup is Perth alt-rock act, Jebediah, alongside local Triple J Unearthed favourites Maddy Jane, Electrik Lemonade, Bugs, Machine Age and more.

“The street is so diverse with everything from award-winning Sugo Mi and the ever popular La Quinta Mexican, to the electric Anne’s Secondhand Shop, the fashion at Side Street Boutique and of course the much loved Balmoral Cineplex,” says Ben.

Whether you’re a local or visiting from the other side of Brisbane, we know you’ll enjoy joining in to celebrate this great suburb.

The event runs from 10am to 9pm this Saturday. For more information on Bulimba Festival click HERE
