The well-known and long-loved Noosa Longboards is built on ‘surfboards, aloha and rock & roll’.

Opening in Noosaville along the Noosa River back in 1994 as a retro surf shop, Noosa Longboards has opened their brand new urban store, right here on Bulimba’s Oxford Street.

We caught up the owner, Michael Holmes, who shared the story of where the Noosa Longboards attitude came from, and what it means to him.

“Surfboards, aloha, rock & roll, are a representation of my bedroom walls as a 17-year-old,” shares Michael.

“I always thought, one day I’d like to open a store that reflected just that…. The good old times,” he says.
