Okay, so, picture this. It’s the end of the work week, you’re exhausted and in need of a drink or two but not to sure where to go and don’t want to go far.
You’ll be grateful to know we’ve done the hard work for you and curated a list of our top five local picks in Brisbane’s Southside for an after work drink.
The Southside of Brisbane is only a hop, skip and jump away from the CBD, so it’s a perfect place to start your evening.
1. Ze Pickle - 4 Newman Ave, Camp Hill
After taking Fortitude Valley by storm, Ze Pickle opened their doors in the heart of Camp Hill.
We know Ze Pickle is a burger place, but you haven’t lived until you’ve tried one of their delicious cocktails. And if you get hungry, we certainly recommend staying for a burger!
Not only are the drinks delicious, the local feel and atmosphere is perfect for an arvo of unwinding after a long week at work.

2. Beyond The Pale - Coorparoo Square
If you’re into trying all sorts of local craft beer, Beyond the Pale is the place for you!
The stylish drinking hole is one of Coorparoo Square’s latest residents and has made a great first impression.
Locals are loving this place for its relaxed vibe and of course, the large array of drinks!

3. Carindale Hotel - Westfield Carindale
If you’re into the more “classic” Friday arvo, then we suggest you head down to the Carindale Hotel.
Locals are proud to call this place their favourite spot for a cold one.
If your appetite kicks in stay for dinner, you won't be disappointed!

4. Factory 51 - 51 Holdsworth Street, Coorparoo
Factory 51 used to be an old factory (hence the name).
It has since been restored and turned into the fabulous bar and restaurant that it is.
The building itself is worth seeing. The original exposed brick still stands giving it a rustic and homely feel.
Locals have loved watching this place evolve over the years and now enjoy heading there for a quiet drink and bite to eat after a long week at work.

5. Coorparoo Bowls Club - 32 Riddings St, Coorparoo
If your down for a laidback Friday afternoon, the Coorparoo Bowls Club is where you should be heading.
Enjoy some drinks with friends and play barefoot bowls while you listen to live music.
