Have your New Year’s fitness resolutions stuck?
It can be hard to stay motivated, we totally get it, but luckily it’s never too late to start!
We’ve found three ways you and the family can keep fit and motivated in March at Majestic Park, as part of a Brisbane City Council fitness program.
The best part? They don’t cost a cent!
1. Boxing Battle Zone
If you want to learn a new skill and get fit at the same time, this boxing class, run by Fitness Forever, is the activity for you!
Held every Saturday morning at 7am, you’ll learn boxing techniques that’ll improve your fitness levels.
It’s open to all ages, so the kids can come along too.

2. Flexibility and Core Conditioning
This Flexibility and Core Conditioning class focuses on static stretches and abdominal exercises that have important benefits.
These exercises are designed to strengthen and lengthen your muscles, improve posture, increase overall stability and aid in the prevention of injury.
This class is held every Sunday at 7:30am and is also open to all ages.
3. ACT-ivate Children’s Club
This kids-only class is held every Monday at 3:45pm.
The children are separated into two different age groups, one for 3-4 and 5-10 year-olds.
These classes are all about having fun and meeting new friends, all the while keeping active and stimulated.
The big kids get to play ball games, brave the obstacle courses, relays, egg and spoon races, participate in drama based interactive games and much, much more.
For the little ones, their session will include balls, hoops, parachutes, tunnels, jumping sacks, puppets, storybooks, costumes and music.
Bookings are essential and can be done here.
