She has shared with us her top three tips to staying energised throughout your busy week.

Can you tell us how you got into being a naturopath?

So, I had a light bulb moment a few years ago.

I was living a very fast life. Even though I was really good at my job, I was unhappy. I was living an unfulfilled life.

When I was about 23, my work sent me over to India.

During my time there, I saw a group of young children on the street playing cricket. This was on a Wednesday morning when the kids should have been at school.

I asked our driver why these kids weren’t at school and he said they don't get the opportunity to be at school because they were too poor. They would only live a poor lifestyle and wouldn’t be able to afford to get proper education.

I promised myself that as soon as I got back to Australia, I would start living my life. I would stop drinking every weekend and stop trying to forget my busy week.

At that time, I went and told my boss that I quit because I needed to find out what I wanted to do with my life.

I have always had a passion for natural health. Growing up as a sick kid, I always knew that health can impact your wellbeing and the way you think and feel.

So, I enrolled in a Bachelor of Health Science and I never looked back.

I learnt so many things about the body and how everything is connected and was immediately drawn to learn more and help people.

And that’s how I became a naturopath.
