In the midst of Martha Streets’ selection of shops, cafes and restaurants was an empty opportunity there for the taking.

Renowned chef, Patrick Laws, found this space and with the help of his partner Jennie Byrnes, turned it into Martha Street Kitchen.

Although open for just six weeks, it’s already proving popular with locals.

“We feel as though we have to change our food and beverage menu already as the entire neighbourhood has worked their way through the menus!” says Jennie.

Before the busy dinner rush, we sat down with Jennie for a quick chat.
