The Oxley Girl Guides have been in the area for 59 years!

Amanda Nicholls has been a guide leader for 16 years and she says they’re always on the hunt for new mentors.

The guides pride themselves on empowering young girls as they grow into women.

“Empowering girls, to me, means I’m able to give them skills to progress in life,” Amanda says.

“Leadership skills, team-building skills… all those skills that are fundamental to them growing in life”

“All of our programs are girl led so that means our girls come up with the program and do what they like to do.”
