Simpson Park in Graceville was buzzing on Sunday as eager runners arrived bright and early to register for the CTK Community Fun Run.

The warm-ups began and at 8am sharp, the run was underway!

While places for the best in each category were awarded, this run was for fun, not a scary race designed to test the athleticism of the community.

The CTK Fun Run aims to promote families getting outdoors and exercising together in a positive and enjoyable environment.

400 locals turned out to run or walk, while scores more came to spectate or volunteer.

The early-morning chill soon gave way to a bright, sunny morning complete with endless blue skies.

Many locals present participated last year, and many more will be back next year!
