When Ilana and Jixon Chirayil moved their Indian restaurant, Spicy Affair, from Bellbowrie to Kenmore, they didn’t expect Bellbowrie locals to be as sad as they were.

But devoted fans have followed them to their new location, sharing whispers that their food is the best Indian in Brisbane!

We asked Jixon what their most popular dish is, and while he admits Butter Chicken and Rogan Josh are always up there, a new favourite has emerged.

Jixon says Fish Malabar is becoming more and more popular, with locals branching out to new dishes they’ve never tried.
