[VIDEO] Teneriffe Festival | A Toast to Teneriffe
By // Shannon Edwards for Place New Farm
Streets bustling with people and their pups, indulging in food-truck delicacies, and lounging in the sun listening to live music at one of the great pop-up bars - last weekend was the perfect social gathering.
As a celebration of the suburb’s industrial past to the creative, trendy nature of the streets today, Saturday’s Teneriffe Festival was a real toast to the 4005 hot spot.
We were lucky enough to check out the festival and caught up with those who made it possible – event partners, owners of Green Beacon, Adrian Slaughter and Marc Chrismas, and sponsor of the River Stage, Triffid owner John Collins.
A day at the festival wouldn’t be quite right without enjoying the exclusive ‘Riffe Raff Pale Ale’ from the Green Beacon pop-up, along the banks of the Brissy river watching the Triffid’s great acts from the River Stage.
We hope you we’re able to enjoy the event as much as us. If you weren’t able to make it, luckily for you we captured SOME of the festival's highlights.
