“I’ve always been crafty and hands on. As a child, I was always working on some sort of project,” says Sue Hillhouse.

Tucked away amongst a jungle of greenery, Sue operates from her workshop in a vintage bus in Albion.

At Plane Wood Frame Sue makes custom pieces that frame people’s precious memories.

“I’ve framed everything from artworks and awards to keys and bits of rock,” says Sue.

As well as this, Sue is working on a collection of frames that suit any standard size. These aren’t your average frames, Sue uses unique techniques that she’s discovered herself and learnt from others throughout the years.
