10 years ago when the Walker family bought an industrial kitchen in Mansfield, they had a feeling the suburb would be an up-and-coming location of the future.

They were right. Mansfield has evolved into a booming residential, family friendly area with one of the state’s best public schools.

Two years ago, Cameron Walker took the opportunity to open The Coffee Nook out the front of his parents industrial kitchen business.

Since then, Cameron’s customer base has grown from workers and business owners to the local hot spot for school mums, dads and families popping in for their morning coffees.

“We’ve really got a nice community feel here,” he says.
