[VIDEO] Hawthorne's Jules & Ginger | More Than Just a Good Cut & Colour

Right across from the well-known Morningside AFL club on busy Riding Road in Hawthorne are two of the suburbs favourite hair dressing destinations.

Jack’s Barber and Jules & Ginger are lovingly owned and run by Julie Anne Francis.

Having found her love for hairdressing as a young girl, Julie followed her heart and learnt the art of barbering.

“As a girl I loved doing the hair of my friends and family, I always knew I’d end up doing it as a career,” says Julie.

After moving to Hawthorne, Julie was able to follow her dream and opened Jules & Ginger here on Riding Road. Not long after followed Jack’s Barber. 

“We’re so lucky to be here in Hawthorne. It’s a beautiful community that we have around us” says Julie.

Amongst friendly catch-ups with clients, we managed to have a quick chat to Julie and found out what she loves about her business.
