Comedian, actor, sports journalist for Nine Network, radio host and now author - it’s safe to say Steve Haddan has had a richly textured career.

His latest book, “Our Game: The Celebration of Brisbane Rugby League 1909-1987” tells the stories of champion footy players, breathtaking matches, killer rivalries, controversies and long-loved clubs.

Steve welcomed us into his beautiful Hawthorne home, which looks over a footy field may we add, and showed us his office where the book was written.

He talked us through what inspired him to write the story.
