Who doesn’t love the crispy, sweet taste of maple syrup covered bacon? We’re thankful for the Canadian that invented this combination.

One of our favourite local breakfast spots, In a Pickle, has done Canada proud and created a dish called “The Canadian French Toast”.

Imagine two soft pieces of French brioche toast topped with crispy bacon drizzled with maple syrup - sounds heavenly right?

When we heard about this dish, we went running to give it a go!
