In amongst Herbert street’s modern homes, lies one of Camp Hill’s oldest, and a beautiful love story between two special lifelong residents.

Their names are Patrick and Patricia Logan. The couple married in Coorparoo in 1953 and bought a piece of land in Herbert street where they lived in a modest old shed.

After tirelessly working in their local jobs, this determined couple scraped together enough money to build a family house of their own.

After nine years of very little help, they finally finished their forever home.

It’s one of the most cherished love tales of the local area, with Patrick and Patricia sharing as much love for their home as they do for eachother to this day.
