If you’re a Corinda local, you’d know there’s nowhere that oozes local charm like Caffe Primavera.
This local café has been a fixture of the Corinda community for the past 18 years.
Some locals stop by multiple times per day, whether they’re coming for breakfast, lunch, dinner or coffee, owner Bruno Orlando welcomes them with open arms and a cheeky grin.
Over 20 years ago, Bruno moved up from Melbourne and worked at his parents’ restaurant for a few years.
He then decided that Brisbane needed something al fresco, similar to the restaurants popping up in bigger cities like Sydney and Melbourne.
And so, Caffe Primavera was born.
This café boasts a menu that’s a delicious and eclectic mashup of Mediterranean and modern Australian cuisine.
The real secret to their success though is their love of the local area.
Bruno started Primavera and stayed for a couple of years, before then spending a few years managing a restaurant in Bardon.
He said that he jumped at the chance to get back to the Corinda locals and the beautiful area.
We spoke to Bruno about Corinda, his love of the area and how Caffe Primavera came to be.
