[VIDEO] Corinda | Don't You Wish Every High School Had This?

When your children enter high school, you expect them to be in classes like maths, science, and English.
But we think the subject we’re about to share with you... might gain a bit more attention!
Corinda State High have added something very unique to the list - these guys have an agriculture farm!
If you’re thinking they plants seedlings and maybe feed some fish in a tank - think again.
This school not only teaches agriculture in the classroom, but students can get an awesome, hands-on approach by tending to animals in the great outdoors.
We spoke to Head of Senior Science and Agriculture Stuart Halsey about the farm and the different animals the students learn to care for.
How do you think it benefits the education of the children?
In a couple of ways! First of all, kids get a unique experience of working with animals that they don’t normally get at high school.
They also have opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities like showing sheep at events around Brisbane, like the Ekka!
We bring outside experts to talk about the various animals and show the kids the finer details of how to work with, care for and make animals as healthy and as happy as possible.
