Not many of us are brave enough to take what could be described as a leap-of-faith into the unknown, but Kate Cleary, former anaesthetic nurse, has done just that.

Kate spent 10 years working as an anaesthetic nurse, but after losing her parents in her mid-twenties, she decided to re-evaluated her career path.

After this life-changing and devastating event, she realised life is short and that she needed to be doing something she could pour her heart, soul and creativity into.

She discovered flipping homes and hasn’t looked back ever since.

Before leaving her job as an anaesthetic nurse, Kate ensured she had a substantial amount of savings in the bank to fund her venture and to help her out if things didn’t go to plan.

Fortunately, they did.

Kate says that the most exciting part of a project is the beginning because there’s so much potential.

In just four years, she has flipped 15 homes and loves it more and more every day.
