Once a year, the Corinda Bowls Club have their Mixed Medley Day, where they invite other local clubs in the nearby communities to play lawn bowls.
The club is nestled down a quiet backstreet - the game itself is also played quietly.
You can feel the tension as players line-up the angle before rolling the ball.
Players bowl into the late afternoon
Every so often, the silence is broken by a clap, a shout of glee or a playful smack on the back.
This day is all about teams, and throughout the day, teams of two or four play in single-sex or mixed group games.
The day is mainly a fundraiser for the club, but it also helps bring people who love bowling together.
We spoke to the current presidents of the Corinda Bowls Club, Lyn Boddy and Don West, about the day itself and their love of the sport.
