With so many fireworks displays each year, you might worry about your dog freaking out.

It’s the middle of fete season and spectacular fireworks have been showcased this year.

But on the flip-side, these awesome displays of celebration can create fear for our beloved fur-babies.

We decided to get some advice from the experts about the best ways to keep your dog calm during fireworks.

Sue Lapham and Danielle Appay are vets at the Indooroopilly Veterinary Clinic and they explain to us that some dogs get noise-phobia.

This could mean that they’re scared of storms, fireworks, or even (in the case of one of their babies) - power tools.

We catch up with them to find out the best ways to help your pet when they’re whimpering, shivering or barking due to noise.
