Some locals are so ingrained in their community and exude a special connection to where they live.

Oxley local, Bruce Holland, is one of those people.

Born in Inala in 1956, Bruce has spent his whole life in and around the 4075 suburb managing various businesses.

He’s currently the owner of Cool Meat Direct at Oxley.

While meat may be his business right now, he says his passion is good retail and customer service - something he believes is dying out.

Bruce believes in shopping locally and keeping retail alive.

He spoke to us about retail in this day and age, his passions, and some advice for younger people thinking about going into retail.
