Almost seven years ago, Lui and Angie Monforte were searching for the perfect place in Brisbane to open a café.

After counting cars to make sure there would be enough traffic and scouting the area, they decided on what they felt was the perfect spot - the corner of Honour avenue and Rakeevan road in Graceville.

Honour Espresso has lived on this corner ever since.

These guys are basically ingrained in the local community and they’re always up for a laugh and chat.

From the Disgraceville Greys to Graceville’s very large cyclist population, the café is always buzzing with locals.

We chat to Lui and Angie about their love of the local area and their regulars.
