[VIDEO] Graceville | This Design Hub Will Be Your New Favourite Spot!

Author // Georgina Auton, Place Graceville

Toni Scott and Melissa Anderson have been family friends for a long time.

They both love to travel and create amazing spaces, and decided to go into business with Toni’s daughter Rachel and Melissa’s daughter Bella.

Kabana was born six weeks ago but it’s been months in the making!

Kabana is a homewares and clothes store, but it’s not just that.

Melissa designs the clothes they sell, and her label Ruby Yaya is a huge hit because of its flattering styles and beautiful fabrics.

Toni sources and frames artwork for the store and Bella assists with management.

Meanwhile, Rachel runs Rachel Elizabeth Interiors - an interior design business based within Kabana and also creates her own range of beautiful block print fabrics and soft furnishings.

These four say going into business together has been amazing and the space has come together incredibly.

In a renovated house, the space is bright and open - with different rooms separating the items they sell.

Whether you’re looking for clothes, gifts, interior design, art, painting or even crafty workshops...Kabana is definitely a new favourite among locals!

We chat to Toni about the concept.
