Simply Smashing | The 10 Best Avo on Toast on the Inner North of Bris

Author // Shannon Edwards, Place New Farm

Smashed avocado on toast is a humble dish that never disappoints.

As one of our personal favourite breakfast options, we have come to notice that almost every Brisbane café serves up their unique version of the dish.

And no, we’re not talking about mum’s classic avocado slapped on wholegrain bread!

We’re talking freshly sliced or smashed avocado paired with the likes of roasted beetroot, pistachio and dukkah – yum.

We’ve gathered a list of Brisbane’s cafes that are smashin’ avo on toast, creating our very own “Smashed Avocado Index”.
