Do you ever feel like a perfectly cooked quality piece of steak, but you don’t want to leave the house?

Josh Lopez has been a Chef for 14 years. He is currently the head chef for the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art.

You may also recognise him from being a guest chef of the hit TV series, Masterchef.

After living in his Camp Hill home for quite some time, Josh and his family have decided to move.

We went down to his family home to catch up and find out to perfect your steak at home!

Have you always lived in Brisbane?

I’m a south-east Brisbane guy. My mum and dad still live in Norman Park, they have been there 27 years. I love this part of town. I feel very lucky to have lived in this beautiful home in Camp Hill.

What do you love most about living in this home?

It’s been a pleasure to live in this home and we are sad to say goodbye.

We are happy we have renovated it to suit a new family or new home owners, to create new memories.

What I love most about this home is the kitchen. As a chef I thought it was really important to have a glamorous kitchen and one that is functional too.

I love to entertain and nothing says entertaining more than our little wine fridge. There is always bottle of champagne in there.
